British Children and Sexual Images. British children increasingly are exposed to sexual images and their parents can hardly prevent it, said the interior ministry report.

The report called for more stringent regulations imposed for sexual images in advertisements and prohibit sales of adult magazines to children under the age of 16 years.

The report also recommends the sale of mobile phones (mobile phone) and games with parental supervision is turned on automatically.

Legislation being pushed by House Republicans to repeal President Barack Obama's health care overhaul will add $230 billion to the federal debt by 2021, according to an analysis released Thursday by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Democrats immediately pounced on the report, arguing, among other things, that it undermines the new GOP House majority's emphasis on fiscal responsibility.

Obama Appoint William Daley As Chief of Staff

President Obama will name William Daley his new White House chief of staff this afternoon, two administration officials said today.

The formal announcement is currently set for 2:30 p.m., the officials said, requesting anonymity so that the president can discuss the selection himself.

Daley, who like Obama is from Chicago, led the Commerce Department during the Bill Clinton administration. He returns to government after a stint with JP Morgan Chase.

He completed a Masters of Theater Arts degree in California at the Pasadena Playhouse in 1941. Wildlife experts are trying to determine what caused more than 1000 birds to die and fall from the sky over the town of Beebe in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said it began receiving reports about the dead birds at about 11.30pm on Friday.
